The first golf day was held in 2007 in aid of the Jana School in Kleinmond (which caters for mentally and physically challenged children). The golf day was a huge success and enjoyed by all who played in it – thanks to all CSV’s clients and suppliers.
Due to the success of the golf day CSV decided to make it an annual event and joined hands with DistrictMail as media sponsors to raise funds for community organisations selected by CSV.

2018 Golf Day
The beneficiary of this year’s event was the Bizweni Center. A combined amount of R224 250 was collected for this center for children with disabilities who are in Somerset West area.

2016 Golf Day
40 Teams took to the Strand Golf Course on the 2nd September 2016 to support the annual CSV / DistrictMail Golf Day. A total of R 205 980 was handed over to the Chere Botha School for Children with Special Needs.
